DeLaveaga Descent
I had planned an out-and-back, but the descent was steep enough that I decided to just keep heading down the mountain and grab an Uber back at the bottom. It was a warm day so I wanted to cover more ground instead of huffing back up in the sun.

Sand Peak Loop
More sandhills. Never done this loop before and it was perfect. Great balance of up and down and well maintained. Had to dodge a few bikes but worth it.

Quail Hollow Ranch Hike
The Quail Hollow loop covers such a variety of terrain in a very short hike - grassy undergrowth, redwood groves, and sandhills (they still find sharks teeth up here, think about that). Spring is here in San Lorenzo Valley, so I took the opportunity see what might be blooming.

What an awesome adventure and beautiful photos! I would love to make this hike with you! And incredible that one would find sharks teeth that far inland and almost 600' above sea level! 🤯 Land sharks? 🤔😂

High School Trail
We have a great redwood loop that starts at San Lorenzo Valley High School and loops back through a neighborhood. With 100°F temperatures today, we decided to spend time under the canopy.

As a band of brothers, we had awesome ride this morning... soaking in nature and enjoying every moment together. It was one of those simple, perfect outings: family, fresh air, and time well spent.

Took a day ride around Monterey, CA for my birthday. We didn't go as far north as I wanted originally, but we rounded the bend of the southern Marine Sanctuary and tide pools which were AMAZING. Much fun, and a great path through town.
