A lovely circular walk from Tilberthwaite today over Wetherlam, Swirl How and Great Carrs, returning via Little Langdale with a visit to Slaters Bridge and all the way through Cathedral Cave, which formed part of the route. The weather started off OK with light showers but got heavier on the section up the final ascent of Wetherlam and over to Swirl How. The wind from the SW on Swirl How down to little Carrs was very strong, 35mph or more, not quite blowing us over but not far off.
