The attempt to get coffee and tea in Schönebeck on Saturday morning failed - even at the graduation tower in Bad Salzelmen: dead pants!
Without breakfast or hot drinks we drove into the field to find an Asian restaurant with a covered outdoor area in the courtyard shortly before 12 in Barby - it was raining again. Then fried noodles instead of milk coffee. Then we went in a good mood and new sunshine over the old railway bridge to the other side of the Elbe where a freshly sanded, fine concrete slab path awaited us.
Picnic at the lake between idyllic village and grain fields.
We got as far as the empty Dornburg Castle before the next rain set in.
Then back to Schönebeck, still dry.

Another companion round to Jörg's orbit. As usual, a few hours later and a few kilometers less. The route was supposed to be a little different, but getting there and back was fine too. This time there was green (!) Forest and then finally the thunderstorm that had been announced for a long time. In the refuge at the Regensteinmühle it was sociable with 8 other hikers. A worthwhile detour, even if the hiking trail over the rocks may not, strictly speaking, be intended for cycling. On the way back still nice mush, and in time with sweets back to Jörg's reception.

Moderate introductory tour in the Harz Mountains to get used to the altitude meters carefully.
At one point the water of the Bode was too high and too strong to cross it safely. A little detour was necessary. Otherwise, the increasing bare former forest areas frighten the inexperienced Harz visitor again and again ... (The pictures still unprocessed)

The next orbit accompaniment round is about to begin. While Jörg is already increasing his orbit performance today, I click a tired little round 3 hours later.
The one and a half hour journey in the IC to Waren (Müritz) in the company of a beer-loving Swabian group of young men is still a certain challenge for my sleepy mind, but the first refreshing, crystal-clear Mecklenburg lake is not long in coming after the start.
It doesn't take long before the next lake is reached, the Kölpinsee, a body of water as far as the eye can see in the middle of a green meadow. I have to go in again. This lake is also very clear and very shallow. I let myself slide into the calf-deep water, do a few swimming strokes and rub my hand over the bottom ... suddenly quite painful, and the immediately bleeding finger supports my feelings. Dip. Thanks to the first aid kit, the finger can be treated quickly. I check the shallow, clear water again - there is nothing there. A few round stones and sand. Maybe you don't have to know everything.
It continues on chilled paths, quite a lot of asphalt, which suits me well today. The weather is wonderful, the area is lovely ... that's roughly how I wanted it today.
Only Malchow is already stressing, one car after the next pushes through the cobblestone old town ... how is it here in the high season?
Somewhere my paths get stuck in the forest again, but otherwise things are moving steadily to the Fischerhof in Damerow, where fabulous fish sandwiches are promised. In the meantime I have noticed that Jörg doesn’t get much feedback when I send lots of good-humored messages through the airwaves. Only a confused sequence of letters comes back to the question of fish rolls, well then, so the good catfish rolls.
komoot tracking is now helping me with the location: Jörg is just before the goal, about an hour and a half earlier than announced. Then I will have to work hard for the last 12 km to be the reception committee. Of course I can't do it anymore, but apparently the 20 minutes waiting time could be bridged. We get the last of the alcohol-free wheat and fish rolls from the smokehouse in Waren. The matte return trip in the IC goes without incident. For dinner at home there are catfish rolls.

The ORBIT 360 season has started and Jörg had to hit the slopes. As an escort service, I start halfway around 2 hours later at 9:45 am at Fürstenberg (Havel) train station. The announced sunny weather is a long time coming, it remains quite fresh.
It's chilled through waders and past lakes (swimming!) And all kinds of waters with bivouacs (amazed!). Unfortunately, only the hoped-for fish sandwich offer is missing.
Shortly before Templin I leave the orbit route and look forward to crossing the barren Tangersdorfer Heide, I have to repeat that. At the moment, however, it is important to get ahead quickly in order to catch up with Jörg.
However, there is still one unstoppable item on the program: the Capriolenhof goat cheese dairy. The farm shop and garden is open and full of little goats. I am briefly considering staying here for the rest of my life, but then decide for two pieces of cheese and continue on towards Fürstenberg.
I meet Jörg with some precision on the single trail along the Havel just before Fürstenberg. He overtakes me, the time is calling, but we will soon meet again in Fürstenberg. It is enough for a refreshing alcohol-free drink at the train station and for a very relaxed journey home. A nice start to the season.

From Jüterbog to Niedergörsdorf with the spectacular Nuthe spring and the circumnavigation of the airport. Then via Altes Lager in the Zinna-Jüterbog forest with bunkers and a large walking dune. Of course, we could not leave untried the advice of the latter, although Epha with the Fattie was much better positioned here :-)
Afterwards a short refreshing bath in one of the few bodies of water in the area. Then via the villages of Frankenförde, Gottsdorf and Hennickendorf to the 'Strada Bianca' through Bärluch and from Gellentin along the Nuthe. Finally, via Kliestow to Trebbin, where the waiting time for the train was upgraded with a Hefeweizen.

S-Bahn to Blankenfelde, then cuddly through the forest, past Rangsdorfer See and avoiding motorways as much as possible. Exception Zossen with detour traffic jams at the level crossings. Then calm again in Wünsdorf.
Epha could not help jumping into the Großer Möggelinsee before the attractive Brandenburg sand areas were tempting to drive.
Further in the direction of Baruth through lonely forests to Mückendorf and there the Baruther glacial valley, before we disappeared again in the extensive forests with strange legacies in the direction of Sperenberg.
South of the airfield through the Kummersdorfer Heide, Schöneweide and Wald Wald Wald over the B101 to the railway line between Luckenwalde and Berlin. There then on precious concrete slabs along the direction of Trebbin.
After a short stop at the supermarket, back with the RE3.PS .: By the way, there was a lot of wind from different directions all day and rarely felt from behind. We didn't get into the rain for that.
