Today we visited Leuchtenburg Castle on Lake Kaltern. In glorious sunshine and 30 degrees Celsius, we set off – past apple orchards, through terraced vineyards, across vineyards, and along small olive groves. The path up to the castle went over hill and dale. The view was magnificent.
