Today, I took a short tour through our beautiful homeland, the Darlingeröder Schweiz, with the Harzfüchse. We haven't walked the Kammweg from Meinberg to Kantorberg for a few years, but we are often on the other paths. The Russian Bear is my favorite picture on this hike.

This hike today was extremely varied for me, which I enjoyed very much.
The weather was ideal and the impressions upon reaching the Prammestein in the Hohneklippen as the summit of the round.
Many cliffs were formerly accessible but not visible.
This will be a lasting memory for me, frustration and joy at the same time.

We used to ride our MTBs in this area for years because we really enjoyed forest paths with shade and pleasant routes. After the bark beetle calamity, we withdrew a bit from here. Today, we took a short hike here with the Harzfüchsen and enjoyed the pleasant side of the forest conversion in a beautiful season.

Actually, an old buddy of mine wanted to hike with me today. Since he cancelled at short notice, I decided to do my planned hike alone. I hadn't been to Hanneckenbruch for 20 years and, as Nicole's prompt, I wanted to look around there again. No app still shows the old hiking trails, so I followed a

Almost exactly 20 years ago, we were on this route for the last time. Thanks to Andrea, we followed her invitation today, although the surroundings of Schierke are not among our favorites. But here we really enjoyed the beautiful sides of forest dieback today in great weather. The clear view impressed

Today I did a small, unspectacular bike tour on the Wittow peninsula of Rügen, where I was really lucky with the weather. With a strong NE wind, a thunderstorm suddenly approached from the SW, which I was able to avoid with some luck and skill. This means our pre-season tour for this year is also over again.

After I forgot to start recording the hike yesterday on Hiddensee, I paid close attention today not to miss it again. We last walked this round in 2010, and it's quite impressive what changes nature has made in the intervening years. The character of the coast hasn't changed much, but the beach has

Back on the bike after a long time, the wind was mostly pleasant with mild temperatures. Kap Arkona is quite overrun, but we caught a relatively quiet day. Komoot is acting up again, because even though we weren't going that fast, we were still out on the bike.

Thanks to a tip, we found a cooler place in Germany, and escaped the heat and thunderstorms to the island of Rügen. It always amazes us how beautiful it can be to be out and about here. Sun, cool wind, and a calming landscape with interesting motifs, and in Altenkirchen there is the island's oldest church from 1185.

After Schloßpark Babelsberg, we were today in Schloßpark Glienicke, which already belongs to Berlin. It is differently beautiful than in the park of Babelsberg and both parts were once the only connection between East+West via the Glienicker Bridge. Actually, we wanted to go to Pfaueninsel, but we didn

Today, despite unstable weather, we circled the Schwielowsee, with the village of Petzow being the focus. At the Schinkelkirche, we had a very interesting conversation with the caretaker of the cultural church, and in Ferch, we got into conversation with 2 older ladies. We then skipped Caputh due to the weather.

12 years ago, we took a boat trip in Potsdam and admired Babelsberg with its beautiful and interesting buildings from the water. Now we have taken the opportunity to look around there and were even more enthusiastic than back then. If someone goes there, one should not underestimate the time needed for

We actually wanted to go to Pirna in Saxon Switzerland, but unfortunately the campsite was fully booked. We then spontaneously drove to Ketzin on the Havel and took a longer walk through the town today. The short detour to Paretz was a nice addition to the great impressions here. It's always beautiful in Fontaneland.

Today, an unspectacular hike was undertaken from Bevern through the Sölling Vogler Nature Park to the orchid meadow. The path was very beautiful and pleasant, mostly in the shade and partly not strongly paved roads. We saw the lady's slipper for the first time in the wild, which was quite impressive.

Westerhausen is part of the sanctuary "Heaven on Earth", from Blankenburg. Today we had a nice little hike there with the Harzfüchse and had pleasant speculations about the past in relation to the present and the future.
