So today is the last short stage of our Mosel/Rhine tour.

At the campsite Loreleyblick, we could have sat for hours watching the skills of the inland skippers.😊 Here the Rhine is very winding, narrow and dangerous

Today the 4th and second to last stage of our Mosel/Rhine tour.
Today was the hottest day with approx. 32 degrees. I have to pay my respects to Püppi first, who didn't even whine once that it was or is so hot.❤️👍🥰
The last kilometers along the Moselle again passed spectacular steep slopes

Klüsserath - Pünderich
Today the second stage of our Mosel/Rhine tour.
Again today, in scorching heat (approx. 30 degrees) 🥴😅
In good spirits and after breakfast at the tent, we always went along the Mosel to Cochem, Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trabach, to name just a few beautiful and historic villages

Trier - Klüsserath
The first stage of our Mosel/Rhine tour started in the afternoon in Trier after a successful journey by train in scorching heat and led us to Klüsserath.
We set up camp at a beautiful campsite directly on the Moselle and are now enjoying the evening with homemade soup and cold beer

Early in the morning, we set off for Minden to get to Trier by train.
The journey was spectacular again, crowded trains, non-functioning elevators, and delays made the trip a unique experience again😋😊
During an almost hour-long stopover in Cologne, we decided to say hello to the Cathedral and the Hohenzollern

Today, in good spirits and with the best weather and tailwind, we headed towards Dümmer See. The route there is highly recommended, as is visiting Dümmer See on the first warm public holiday of the year 🙊😎

Today we explored the Mittellandkanal. On predominantly gravel paths, we went along the canal, sometimes with a scenic natural view, sometimes with a rather barren natural view, but always with a strong tailwind. The sun pampered our noses and upon arriving in Peine, we treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream.
