Taking in the Manchester Piccadilly to Guide Bridge, Guide Bridge to Hyde Central and Hyde Central to Romiley legs of the Steel Cotton Rail Trail. Comprising following the Ashton Canal from Manchester with a small detour at Fairfield to the Moravian Settlement there and then to it's end at Portland Basin. Then following the Peak Forest Canal to Romiley, with the Woodley Tunnel being on route to walk through which is 0.1 of a Mile long.

A nice walk out from Burnley to tick off this trig, unfortunately I couldn't get close due to a Drove of Bullocks in the field the trig is in, so I could only take a photo from the road. Also I had planned to do Trig 81 : The Rough as it's nearby but the daylight and some earlier slow going over boggy fields got the better of me! Note to self : Start nearer to the trigs in winter!
