On the last day of our short break in Mecklenburg we drove to Neukloster and walked around the Neuklostersee. Kerstin and Annie use the first opportunity for a dip in the cool water! Again a nice way. For the photo "Schuppendiebe" I just want to say: I wish to Schuppendiebe on my head!
In the end, we just lacked a delicious ice cream in the marketplace! There was a short time later coffee and delicious (by Annie) home-baked cake at home. :-)
What a nice hike! Start was in Müsselmow. At first we followed the Brigitta-von-Sweden pilgrim path a few meters. On the scenic route, we still found some surprises, such. a mausoleum, a forest cemetery, the glass moor and burial mounds. A piece of the way led us along the Warnow. Great trip with Gaby, Annie and Amy.
Returned in time for the sailing trip, we started directly from the marina, to a walk through the Schwerin city center. On the way lay the royal stables, the theater, museum, various ministries, the castle of course, Pfaffenteich and the pig market. We went back to a new residential area along the Ziegeleisee. Kerstin showed me some important stations from her past in Schwerin. Two trips - a full day! By the way, Bonny was on vacation and spent the day in Gustävel!
Oh, how familiar: An old, faded Ixylon! In light wind we sailed from the Marina Nord over the lodge Heidensee on the Schwerin inner lake. Our destination was the bridge to the outer lake. But as the wind eased a bit, and we had to cross to reach our destination, we "gave up" or changed our plan. Back on the downwind course Kerstin took over the helm! The last few meters absolutely wanted to help and haul us a 225 hp motorboat driver. We did not say "no" and saved a few paddle strikes. A nice sailing trip, which also made Kerstin fun!
