Mijn favoriete gebieden zijn bos heide en stuifzandgebieden maar een prachtig oud idyllisch landschap zoals je inTwente veel ziet vind ik ook geweldig. Drenthe en Overijssel (Salland en Twente) zijn voor mij dan ook de plekken waar ik het liefste kom. Soms neem ik dan ook onze hond Saar mee. Saar is een Berner Sennenhond (2 jr) die met iedereen dikke vrienden is. Ze vind alleen wandelingen van meer dan 5km niet echt leuk en te inspannend dus vaak blijft ze dan ook thuis als ik wat verder ga wandelen.
