From the cottage through the dunes onto the beach. Walked nicely along the sea there.
I find a nice spot to cross back through the dune.
Beautiful sand drifts, but after a few climbs and exciting descents, I come - literally - up against a wall of sand. Very special. But behind it doesn't seem very accessible

Horse riding!!
This afternoon the children will go on a horse ride through the dunes, forest and along the beach.

Due to the altitude of this area, the German army built a radar position here during World War II. This made it possible to intercept Allied aircraft on their way to Germany.

On the way back from the Koreabos and -duin, we stopped at a dune near our cottage.
Walked up for the view of the Peerkuil and Badhuiskuil.
But especially fun to wave to Dinand and Gijs on the balcony of the cottage with binoculars.
After texting that they can put on the coffee, I descend again and get back on the bike.

This small forest was laid out in 1951, at the time of the Korean War. That is one explanation for the name, the other is that the workers had to work so hard that they would have been better off in Korea. Next to it lies a 29-meter dune, the Koreaduin.

Yeahh, today I'm celebrating! 🥳 The last stage of the Reggepad has been completed 🤩
