🇩🇪 Today, the four of us set out for a beautiful, varied hike in Uelsen.
We parked at the Alter Friedhof, on Am Mühlenberg.
From there, we walked the GUQ -Geschichtspark Uelser Quellen Erlebnispfad, a cultural and historical hiking trail in the Grafschaft Bentheim.

Today we went On Tour again with a nice group!
This time Annemarie took us to the Singraven estate.
We walked through the beautiful nature, felt like the big shots of Twente, walked via a nice boardwalk and had a pleasant stop at the 'schuivenhuisje'.
In the center of Denekamp, a cozy lunch to finish.

Today a reason to drive towards Bennekom.
It is always nice to stretch your legs after a long car ride.
Chosen farm Hoekelum as the starting point, then we can have lunch there after the walk.

From the cottage through the dunes onto the beach. Walked nicely along the sea there.
I find a nice spot to cross back through the dune.
Beautiful sand drifts, but after a few climbs and exciting descents, I come - literally - up against a wall of sand. Very special. But behind it doesn't seem very accessible

Horse riding!!
This afternoon the children will go on a horse ride through the dunes, forest and along the beach.
So we cycle in time towards Oosterend and stop at the only remaining mill on the island, now converted into 'the Coffee Mill' 🍨 in Formerum.

On the way back from the Koreabos and -duin, we stopped at a dune near our cottage.
Walked up for the view of the Peerkuil and Badhuiskuil.
But especially fun to wave to Dinand and Gijs on the balcony of the cottage with binoculars.
