For a change, not on hiking trails, but paddling on the Spree and the canals in the Spreewald near Lübben. A wonderful day trip at a pleasant 22 degrees and mostly sunshine 🚣♂️🌤😎

From the Sturmbauers Eck hiking parking lot near Räumicht, this hike first led us to the Kleinsteinhöhle with a view from the Kleinstein. It continued to the Wachbergbaude (unfortunately closed Mon/Tue) and to the Weifbergturm with a wonderful view of the German-Czech surroundings 😊

Before continuing to the Tomorrowland Festival, a final city hike in Brussels was on the agenda, including the Cinquantenarium Park, European Parliament, Palace of Justice, and the Hal Gate Museum.
A spontaneous detour to Anderlecht completed the tour, fittingly finished with a cool 🍺 at o'reilly's irish

After a day trip to the historic mountain village of Shirakawa-gō and the return journey to Tokyo, there was still some time on the last day in Japan for a trip to Ueno Park and the adjacent Ueno Zoo.
Leider gab es aktuell keine Giant Pandas zu sehen, dennoch bietet der Zoo in Tokyo einen Blick auf zahlreiche

Our sightseeing tour through Kanazawa led us to the Omicho Market 🍱🍤, the Higashi-Chaya geisha district 🥻, and the wonderfully green Utatsuyama Park 🌳.
A stop at Café Hiyokomame is highly recommended, a successful mix of delicious Matcha Latte 🍵 and a feel-good atmosphere with chill musical sounds

The culmination of our multi-day temple tour in Kyoto was a visit to Nijo Castle (Nijojo), built in 1603, and the Myōshin-ji temple complex.
However, the golden highlight is undoubtedly the Zen temple Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and the Zen garden Ryōan-ji 😎

After a day at Universal Studios Japan 🌏 and arriving in Hiroshima, we took a high-speed ferry to Miyajima Island. Here too, free-roaming deer accompanied us 🦌
The island is known, however, for the Itsukushima Shrine and the O-torii Gate ⛩️ that stands in the water at high tide.

Anyone visiting Osaka or Kyoto on their trip should not miss Nara Park, just outside the gates of both major cities.
Here you will encounter the famously notorious free-roaming deer at every corner 🦌
As a rule, they behave just as nobly as the Japanese themselves and bow first to get some food
