Parken kann man in Trautenstein beim Bürgerhaus. Bis Rappodetalsperre geht es flott. Leider zieht sich der Weg zur HWN 42. Ich würde empfehlen gleich auf der Strecke " Die Lange" zu bleiben ( beginnt an einer Kreuzung mit Schutzhütte mit 4 Wegekreuzung) und nicht runter zur Talsperre zu laufen, die Wege sind Teilweise zugewuchert.
