Pleasant and cool along the coast, then hot and one short but steep hill to Ostuni. Flat and straight to Mesagne. Most shops closed today because of a national holiday.

Wonderful easy flat riding along the coast. Single lane and no shoulder but drivers very respectful.

The 1st church photo is in Acaya, small town on the Camino. The priests used to perform exorcisms for various illnesses by hanging patients upside-down by the ankle and reciting prayers. Good alternative for anti-vaxxers.
