Rest day, with just 14 km on the provincial road P1506. Enough to warm up the muscles and enjoy the colourful but arid landscape leading back to the Central Atlas high plains. We are back on one of the touristic attractions of the High Atlas as the road connects the Tizi-n-Tischka Pass with the famous Unesco World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou. Just before the pass Tizi Tanbdout (1.960m) a small path on the right hand side of the road leads into a narrow canyon to the salt mines of Telouet.
