Nice tour around the kitchen lake even on very warm days, since most of the time you walk in the woods around the lake. On the way there are some opportunities to enter the lake and a small café.

Nice hike even for non-hikers who are traveling weekly. Signpost for circular hike, this can also be done by bike. Nice mostly tour.

Super tour also for not everyday hikers, mostly flat paths. Also accessible by bike, but it has to be dismounted because there is a tree on the way, otherwise everything is fixed.

Very nice hiking tour from the small town of Salem. Paved paths, some opportunities to hop into the lake and many nice places to rest and linger. The paths are mostly firm and easy to walk. You also have a good chance here with a mountain bike. So if you have some time and want to get to know the nature in the area around Salem, this tour is well advised.

Unfortunately, the tour was really disappointing, the way to the Pilsum lighthouse went on side roads and dirt roads to the parking lot to the lighthouse. So far everything was okay. Unfortunately we could not go to the lighthouse or the dyke, because dogs are not allowed (unfortunately we did not know) so the way back over the dike into the water. The way back was again on dirt roads and the place Greetsiel, which is very nice by the way and has everything a vacationer needs. From restaurants, bakeries to an EDEKA. So if you are traveling in the area, you should note that dogs and horses are prohibited at the dyke facilities.

Nice round from nearby Emberg to Dermbach over the forest with some rest opportunities.

A very nice hiking trail, but hiking shoes are a must! Loose ground and stones are often on the way. Trekking poles would also be helpful here, anyone who has them can take them with them and will be grateful. This route is for advanced and is not suitable as a starting tour. The route is a lot of fun and is highly recommended.
