The ancient Sardinian people - The Nuraghi -
really draw you in,
when you engage with them.
Near Arzachena, an entire village with a cemetery - a "giant's tomb" - was created.
Including a wine press, ceramic kilns, and a workshop that processed bronze.
All of the above was found here -
And already produced from 1400 BC.

Cycling in 37 degrees is a challenge even at a young age.
What drove us on this tour was the - partly shady variety.
Sections of pine forest were followed by deserted, paradisiacal beaches.

Neuschwanstein alone wasn't enough for us today...
