I've heard so much about it, I'm really glad I had a shot at it today. Apart from 2 sections which are a bit more technical with rocks and steep single track, everything was ok. Now I've heard that it is a whole different story when the terrain is wet, looks like I have to put it on my to-do list!

At the very beginning we were supposed to take a gnarly single track up, but we never found it so we ended up using the road.
And overall, because of poor planning, we mostly used roads. We tried some double track but it ended up in a dead end.
Nonetheless that was a very nice tour and we were blessed

Some steep parts, some tricky off the track parts (our mistake) but the real difficulty was the low hanging bamboo every 20m. That drained our energy so much and slowed us down tremendously. It probably took us about 3 hours total to ride less than 10km... Definitely have to improve before going back

thanks for sharing! the first climb was on my list for this winter, looks steep but comfortable with some bamboo.

We started with the single track, up to the creek. The day goal was to then turn left and find a loop but the first difficulty arrived: very steep climb, rain starting to fall, and not everyone had good tires...
But we all made it up the hill.
The problem is that then we missed the turn and drove back
