Quick ride today exploring single trail connections from Ban Pon Tong in Pa Pae district. I heard there’s a route to the Lisu village to the south and managed to reach the ridge top, but the upper trails were covered in leaves, so I didn’t risk going the wrong way. I can confirm there’s no way to connect

Beautiful area with plenty of easy single trails, mostly flat, and a good mix of surfaces—riverbeds, ruts, clay, mud, rocks, grass, and sand. Some sections are pretty overgrown right now with tall grass and low-hanging bamboo. On the west side of the reservoir, there’s a nice restaurant that’s perfect for food or drinks.
