This was billed as an easy hike but parts of it are challenging. There's a steep uphill stretch which is rough underfoot and the downhill equivalent is on a rough slate pathway and also very steep in parts.
Glorious views from the top and well worth it.
We all have good fitness so coped well.

This was a perfect day kind of hike.
The sun shone and I confess the climb was hot & sticky but worth it.
The farm at the halfway mark was shut so glad we took water ... the waterfalls were aplenty and the views were spectacular. Well worth it

Glorious easy walk with lovely views of Windermere ...
Parked ar Wray Castle - NOTE - the castle is closed for a full renovation for the next three years!
Joey's cafe is in the grounds and serves fab veggie & vegan food, cakes, coffee, tea ... yummmm
