The southern part of the dead sea, has two stripes of hotels connected by a well maintained promenade. The Ein Bokek side has many facilities alongside the promenade such as bathrooms, sport equipment and drinking water. The southern part of the promenade toward the second strip has less facilities. There is also a well maintained, well marked cycling path along most part of the promenade. Best time to hike in early morning or afternoon as it gets really hot by 8am.
