Today's plan was a walk through my local hunting grounds. 😉 I wouldn't recommend tracking game like this; in the southern part, we only followed hunting trails and game paths. 🤫



If you're still drawn to this area: wait until next year. There's a driven hunt on Tuesday, and hiking then isn't advisable

We encountered more nature on this hike than I expected!👍😄 The variety was also lovely:



Forest, fields, the Ruhr River, the lapwing meadows, and yes! ...even a few roads! With such great names as "Hasensprung

With this beautiful weather, it's so much fun to get some fresh air and exercise! 😎



Our old dog 🐶 had other ideas: she gave me a reproachful look (as always) when I shooed her off the sofa... but use it or lose it! 🤓

When you already have appointments on Sundays...🤦‍♀️



Then you go hiking on Wednesdays!🦵🥾🫡

I wanted to take our two dogs for a short hike in the city forest this morning. 😊

And so we did! 👍



We started at the "old ski jump" in the Lägertal valley. Photo #1 shows the spot where Iserlohn's ski jump used to be decades ago.

The sun was shining today 🌞, but the wind was icy. 🌬🥶



And unfortunately, the sun disappeared faster than I could blink! 😲



Even though it was quite muddy in places, the dogs 🐕 and I had fun again. I managed to take some great photos 📸 in the light today! 😉

No, recording the short car ride at the end wasn't planned! 🤷‍♀️🫤



The actual loop was 6.3 km long, and we spent two hours hiking in the thickest, damp fog. 😊



I forgot to turn off Komoot in time again. 🤦‍♀️🙄

I did, however, plan the hike with exactly that title... since yesterday, after my late shift

I killed two birds with one stone today: I took the car to the garage and then went for a walk with the dog. 😃



With this beautiful weather, it was a breeze! 😎 Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos because I forgot my phone at home! 😵‍💫



Although there was quite a lot of asphalt, it was a very pleasant

Today, a walk in Letmathe, a quick look at Oestrich, and then a leisurely stroll back! 😊



As beautiful as it is here between the woods and fields... the highway is incredibly loud! 😯 It spoils the peace.



Oh well, that's just how it is. 🤷‍♀️

It was dry.



It was quite warm.



There was no sun.



...Nevertheless, I enjoyed the colorful leaves! 😉 A lovely after-work walk behind Landhausen, between Hemer Hardt and Seilerwald.



After today's (really stressful! 🥵) workday, the walk in the dry weather was just what I needed! 😀
