Pleasant views of the Mournes. The ground was wet in places; there were no discernible paths apart from the start and finish of the walk.

This was a moderately difficult walk with nice views of Carlingford Lough. The last bit to the top of Foye was fairly steep but not too bad. Excuse the bad photo, the lens of my phone must have been dirty; it was actually a lovely sunny day although very windy.

Unless you're unlucky, like we were, you'll experience lovely scenery on this route. On the day of our cycle there was rain and low cloud, one could only see the outline of the mountains. From Kenmare it's a long drag up to Moll's Gap. There's a café and a souvenir shop at the Gap but be prepared
