After a very sunny Christmas day we headed off towards Tongariro National Park. Views over Lake Taupo and Lake Rotoaira. The rain came in and we got to campsite drenched but in good spirits. Would recommend Discovery Lodge for accomdation. Tomorrow Tongariro Crossing hike!

Brilliant first day of the first edition of the Molise Trail.
Lots of great gravel and super climbs. One completely unforgettable hike - 1.75 kilometres with 200 metres climbing. Great company

Day 2: From Alberese to Orbetello – Bike Boobs Trail

Great ride through the Maremma to Talamone and on to Monte Argentario.
We improvised first day as there was a train strike but luckily there was a shorter version of the Trail which we were able to thoroughly enjoy.
