Opposite the kiosk, there's free parking for about 15 cars, so if you arrive early, you're in luck. There's a barrier at the kiosk itself, and there's a fee: around €4.
This route is very adventurous and steep. You'll go through narrow crevices and many thick, slippery tree roots. Not suitable for those…

This ruin is a true hidden gem. It's steep, with many steps. But once you reach the top, you can walk through the ruins and be treated to views from several platforms. There's ample (paid) parking at the start, with a kiosk next to it.
Don't be fooled by the short distance. The hike will easily take you 1.5-2 hours.

This is a fun, shortened route of the original route by Truus Wijnen. Parking is free.
Enjoy the beautiful nature, a short boardwalk, gnome path, the Wesselerbrinkpark, petting zoo De Wesseler and at the end you can eat or get an ice cream at pancake house Le Pompidou (right next to the petting zoo).

The first few kilometers were incredibly beautiful, with a drawbridge and many small, narrow bicycle bridges along the water. Then we crossed the dike, which was also okay. After that, however, there was a lot of meadow left and right with lots of potholes. Towards the end, we walked along the water…
