Just drive through Gründla towards Mainleus to treat yourself to an ice cream at the Markt-Cafe there. Shortly before Veitlahm, a black column of smoke rose above the village. A trip to Kronach to do a test ride with a Gravelbike. On the way home, we chose the route via Weißenbrunn and up to Grün. From there, up to the Platte and back home again. I love this weather, but maybe it could rain again!

Omi, Siggi and I agreed that a leisurely and relaxed hour on the e-bike in the wonderful weather was in order. Then it turned out to be a bit more than "an hour a lap". It was simply too beautiful!

Rotmaintal bis Altenplos
Mit Omi Siggi ein lockere Tour durchs Rotmaintal bis nach Altenplos unternommen. Heimwärts fuhren wir über Neudrossenfeld und am Igelsweiher vorbei.

Our pleasure tour led through the Rotmaintal, mostly on side roads, to Altenplos. From there, through the Rotmainauen meadows to Alt- and Neudrossenfeld. A short break at the Igelsweiher and then back via Buch am Sand into the Rotmaintal. The weather suited the beautiful tour perfectly.

Kein Eis in Thurnau
Über Windischenhaig und Hutschdorf mit Omi Siggi nach Thurnau. Die Eisdiele hatte leider geschlossen. Auf dem Rückweg über Heubsch und Katschenreuth haben wir Freunde getroffen und mit ihnen ein gutes Gespräch. Hat das Eis locker ersetzt.

Sonntagnachmittagsentspannungsrunde
Über den Radweg B 85 bis Abzwg. Schwingen. Hoch und drüben rumter nach Lindau und nach Waldau. Ortsmitte links und über Feldwege bis Pechgraben. Auf Nebenstrecken nach Hornungsreuth zum Igelsweiher. Der scheint auch komplett gekippt zu sein. Nur grüne Brühe. Weiter bis Buch am Sand und locker durchs Rotmaintal wieder…

We used the glorious autumn day for a short hike up the Walberla. The starting point was Schlaifhausen, something different than from Kirchehrenbach. There was little going on, despite the new barriers, there were of course two-legged animals out and about in nature. On the way home, we had a fine snack
