My wife and I fancied a walk in Brunssum this morning, so I checked out previous hikes. We didn't want to walk on the Brunssumerheide, because even though it's great we wanted to try something new. We was pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of parks, plus the interesting buildings and monuments

A very nice walk through the Birgeler Urwald. Very good paths and lots of Interesting things to see, hear and smell. We detoured a little bit from the original route for various reasons, the main one though was to see the Naturshutzstation Haus Wildenrath. There's a really nice pond here where the frogs
