Wet loop around Žminj that strings together quiet Istrian backroads, stone villages, and plenty of vineyards and olive groves. Mostly gentle rollers, enough to keep it fun, but still perfect for an easy cruise with a couple of scenic stops.

This route is not suitable during heavy winter conditions and should not be attempted when snowfall is intense, or snowpack is deep. In such conditions, hiking becomes significantly harder and progress can be very slow. Do not go without snowshoes or touring skis. Expect sections with deep snow where regular hiking boots are inadequate and can quickly lead to exhaustion, cold stress, and unnecessary risk. If you still decide to do this route in winter conditions, plan for at least +2 extra hours compared to the standard time estimate Recommendation: wait for periods with less snow (or after the trail has been packed/cleared) to keep the hike safer and more enjoyable.
