A great hike with a historic site at the end, the beautiful old town of Seßlach.
The wooden sculptures as well as part of the sculptures on the Steinlegendenweg (stone legends trail) made the hike an interesting experience. Of course, not to forget the great rock formations.

From the Bürglalm mountain station, near the Hochkönig, in the direction of Ahornstein/1855 meters, past the Wastlhöhe, 1737 meters and Kollmannsegg, 1848 meters. From Ahornstein continue towards Huberalm, an original alpine pasture from 1860, then towards the mountain station through forest and fields with a steep ascent.

Great hike with a good view of the Veste Coburg, further to the Eckardtsturm on the Eckardtsberg, then continuing towards Seidmannsdorf with a great view, then over the Brandenstein plain with an airfield back to the starting point.
