A very nice tour through Bamberg.
From the train station at St. Grab past the brewery Fäßla Bier, over the chain bridge of the university & past the nature customer museum you land on the Maximiliansplatz with the town hall.
Continue to the bridge with a view of Little Venice past Centurione1.
Then into the old town, at Schlenkerla with smoked beer "Take" and left up to the cathedral and the church of St. Jakob.
Through the Teufelsgraben it went up to the Altenburg with a visit. Then down through meadows and fields until we decided to stop at the Klosterbräu 🍻.
After refreshment, we went to the Hainpark along the Regnitz, past the Hainbadstelle, the boathouse to the tip of the bow and the right Regnitzarm to the weir, cross this and on to the lock. Despite the darkness we still wanted to know how this lock works. ";Very interesting "
Back on the Main - Danube Canal along the Adenauerufer to Kunigundendamm and finally towards the train station. Short drink at the Piccola Roma pizzeria.I particularly liked the path through the Hainpark 🙂. I didn't know about the lock either. Then back to the Regnitz. The bike path is nicer than the one along the top of the road.

We didn't do as much sport as usual, but here too it was exhausting to cross the waves. 😃
Starting point In the Jaich-Wasserwelten the boat "Amira" went to Greifswald. There are 33 km of waterline with wave 4 wind. The bridge at Greifswald harbor did not open again until 1 p.m., so we had to moor briefly for 15 minutes, then we continued on the waterway for about 4 km to the Hansewerft Greifswald with a rest in the carpenter's shop🍴 and then on to the museum shipyard for old ships, then 🔙 over the terraces. At 5 p.m. the bridge opens again.
Total length of the return trip approx. 73 km across the water on average 12.5 km / h due to the waves and therefore strong rocking.
