Burg Berwartstein was recommended to me ages ago and yesterday I finally went there. Normally there is a short introduction about some peculiarities of the castle in the well hall, but since there were so many people there, I was a bit lucky and got the complete tour and a lot more interesting information

After yesterday's altitude meters, my calves didn't have much motivation today. So today it was just a small loop with few altitude meters. Most of the loop is just wide forest paths and on the figure-eight there are some ancient Celtic burial mounds to see.

On the way back, the Chiemgau map was used one last time. Despite the bad weather, we went up once with the Hochfellnbahn towards the summit. On the short path to the summit cross, I was almost blown away and was glad when I was back in the cable car after 20 minutes. The short stop was worth it for the view.
