My attempt to go for a short walk around the lake 🐩🚶♀️ unfortunately failed due to the fencing.
This seems to be only possible from the entrance directly at the 🅿️.
Since I prefer to do loops and not walk the same way back, my "short" stop turned into a small hike 🥾

The Margarethenschlucht is an impressive gorge with several waterfall steps.
The warning sign at the beginning of the gorge must be observed and sturdy footwear is a must.
The rest of the path is easy to walk and since we went up first, we naturally went back down at the end.

Mosbach is a nice town on the Elz river. Many half-timbered houses can be seen.
The tour up the Henschelberg requires a bit of stamina and definitely sturdy footwear.
The weather was kind to us, so we only had the umbrellas ☂️ with us as an accessory.

A beautiful tour, briefly along a relatively busy road.
The route through the forest to Dehrn Castle made up for it, however. Good footwear is important here and about 15 meters of altitude are overcome by rope. The paths are often little more than a trail.

A trial run for Filou, to see if he stays in it.
