Thought we would try and avoid the worst of the mud by going out the other way of town to The Flitchway or as it should be known at the moment, the river flitch. All going well until Rob's derailleur decided to take an excursion into his spokes. Salvaged just about and managed to finish.

Standard 'avoid the mud as best we can' loop with a little diversion due to a hole in the road. The gloopiest bit wasn't too bad but more rain forecast so it's going to be tough going for a while yet.

Out with Carlos and Rob again and oh boy did we find some mud. All was going well for the first 15 or so miles but on the home stretch on the farm track, it got so thick, my rear wheel seized up. Proper hosing down at the end. Did the bike as well 😁

Same route but the other way round. Just missed the sunset so most of it was in darkness. Should have got a tape measure around my waistline before and after to see if this is having any effect 😄

Actually the mud wasn't too bad. Much Hadham ford was in good flow which helps clear the wheels. Carlos is back on the e-bike but with no motor.
