We were invited to coffee and cake; great, finally out of the usual environment and planned the tour with Komoot for the first time. Worked out pretty well; You can bypass the paths that no longer exist, at least where you know your way around.
I drove over the Schlossberg and the Wolfskopf in the direction of Schafunter; I took the unknown trail to Katzenstein and back up towards Lambertskreuz. The trail to Friedrichsbrunnen was empty, Lambert's cross was full. Continue on the Glaserpfad into the Silbertal and on forest paths up to the Eckkopf. There the sandy and partly blocked paths over the Heidenlöcher to the Michaelskapelle, with a magnificent view yesterday, rumbled down.
The hairpin bends down into Margarethental and back up to the "Green Bank" and a path down to Wachenheim. The last stage through the vineyards was the hardest; but Komoot has proven itself here! The way back was by car; it gets dark so early ;-(

Our Thursday tour to the Humberg. Too early for a sundowner there; at Rummelsberg a tick too late and cloudy :-(
In the dark it was then back to Hochspeyer. It felt like everyone had posted a beautiful sunset here this week. Inspired by this, we went to the 2 viewpoints.
