Betteshanger country park is not very big.. The walking path around the edge is only about 3.5 miles on easy gravel paths.. But it also boasts a cycling track and MTB tracks.. They were charging £3.50 to park a car for the day Oct 21.

There are long sections of this route along the coast where the surface is disgraceful. Concrete slabs with bone jarring gaps in between.. How anyone can call this awful experience a cycle path is beyong belief. I will personally never ride along this section of coastline again. :0(
