The Boat Inn – Monnow Bridge loop from Wyesham
Re routed at start due to landslide. Then after The Boat lots of ferns measuring 5ft and above and overgrown with nettles. Needs trimming back. July 2026

This was a little overgrown in places, terrific views after the BT Tower. Jodrell Bank and Manchester clearly visible. Shutlingsloe and Macclesfield Forest over to the right. Love this area.

Whoa what a start... 35% gradient... we did it though and we're rewarded with the views, which were breathtaking. Look forward to doing it again and incorporating Win Hill into it, I think will be a similar hike up... but looks great through the forest.
