Beautiful landscape with lots of variation, with forest and open areas. During a large stretch of the route, the walkers and cyclists share the same path, which makes it a bit overcrowded at busy days.

This rewilded former agricultural area, has been created to provide space for flooding of the river Maas. This fantastic area with marked tracks to stroll through the wetlands, gets every day more beautiful. Wear waterproof high shoes and long trousers.
