Die Ruine Hohenstein ist nur sehr schwer zugänglich. Leider sind nur wenige Mauerreste erhalten und es befindet sich nirgends ein Hinweis auf die Geschichte der Burg. Schade das sich niemand um die wahrscheinlich ehemals sehr imposante Anlage kümmert. Die Neckarburg ist gut zugänglich und es stehen mehrere sehr hohe Mauern. Das Hinweisschild zur Geschichte der Burg ist leider nur noch teilweise lesbar.
