Starting from a less used car park I had an easy ascend to Carn mountain followed by Muck mountain. The snow got deeper as I progressed the ascend. Pictures showing the terrain. Descending became quite trying with going into thought deep snow. Taking it canny I was never more relieved to finally get

Glorious day in the sun with frost on the ground. Hen mountain, Cock mountain and lastly Pigeon mountain. For some strange reason both Kamoot and Strava flew us up several other mountains....which we didn't do.
In saying that we had a fabulous day with spectacular scenery.

Parking at the Trassey rd we headed up the Hare's gap. A cool crisp morning at 2 degrees we make a swift ascend up to the Hare's gap. Turning right we climbed up Bearnagh which stands 739m. Today we set out early from Silent Valley. A long trek up along the Reservoir to Ben Crom Reservoir. From here we ascended to the ridge before commencing Lamanagh. This is a rock based climb. The views were breathtaking. Clouds sweeping in under us made for spectacular scenery . Moving on we headed

Yet again the blue skies give way to low clouds and dampness.
Leaving from Carrick little carpark we followed the Mourne wall to the summit of Big Binnian. Form there we crossed the North Torr and down onto Brandy path. Passing the Blue loch we went in search of Cove cave. On finding it we were disappointed
