Hike to Mouldon Hill Country Park and back loop

If you start/end in Gorsehill, you have access to supermarket, takeaways, shops etc. I tried to avoid walking on built up areas and busy roads as much as possible. This route gets very muddy if it has been raining, but if not, it doesn't have much elevation so could also…

Hike Budleigh salterton to Exmouth and back

Mostly a nice and sheltered coastal route, middle takes you through a bit of a bleak part of a holiday park, but not for too long. Stop for lunch before your return.

Meldon Dam – Meldon Reservoir to island and back

Not bad elevation, okay for easy hikes, but for those with accessibility issues, it is more of a challenge as the footpath becomes narrow, uneven, rocky and wet like a stream bed.

If you run in the spring, I recorded in April, half the run is parks and half is quiet streets with mostly cherry blossom. Ideal for those not up to a huge run, would also suit a walk.

Double the time it says I was hiking to get a more realistic picture, especiallyif loke me only daytripping on the island. Well worth doing, but stay hydrated and bring a pack lunch as there is nothing once you leave Hugh Town (which you do revisit after the barracks) Recommend Hugh Street Cafe for

This is the short cut route, for those who have done longer beach hikes. If able-bodied, the climb down into Pedn Vounder is worth it. If not, keep on the path for Porthcurno.

I went on a one off guided tour as part of an Archeology Festival, led by Penleen Gallery. So I recorded it to share the hidden history, starting with the gravestone of a priest with very faint carving, hence the leaflet photo. The large stack of stones is home to folk stories of fairies and the

Highly recommend prebooking a tour of the levant mine through the National Trust to do before you start your hike, it will transform your trip and your understanding of what you are looking at. I go on a bit of an off path ramble on my return route, so feel free to stick to the outward route on your

This is the return journey to my St Loys to Pedn Vounder hike. I clip off some of the extra coast line and woodland (as it was the hottest day in UK history and I ran out of water, so stopped in at a different campsite for a refill) The coastal climbs are strenuous and the climb out of the beach is a
