I actually wanted to start off easy with about 40 miles on my mind. Unfortunately there was nothing in a 40 mile distance from Perth so I had to go 60 miles to York, a town with plenty of accommodation. The weather forecast was very contradictory. So to avoid heat in the afternoon I started pretty early and I arrived York at lunch time. Because I had planned for road bikes the app put me on streets. However I found a wonderful rail trail that I followed for quite a while.
