The family went this morning from Börtewitz towards Silbersee.
Before that, I looked at the information boards on the petrified lake.
Past the Frieden opencast mine to the motorcross track.
Continue via Querbitzsch to Börtewitz. There is still an old manor in Börtewitz. You can enter the courtyard. The mansion has been beautifully renovated, but cannot be viewed as it is all privately owned.February 22, 2021

Today we started in the Limmritz at the train station towards the masts. From there to Stockhausen. There used to be a mill there, but is now a residential building. We went on to the fishing pond, this is a bit off the road. Back on to the hiking trail to Ziegra (Lutherweg 🙈), across the street and on in the Limmritz district through the forest, turning off in the Schanzen district. This is an old Slavic rampart (Fig. 34). The grave of the Schmidt family, who were the last owners of the Ziegra manor, is located in the center of the castle ramparts.
From up there you have a beautiful view of the Limmritzer Viaduct and the Zschopau
At the bottom, past the holiday homes and the fish farm to the Limmritz train station, which is on the Elsterwerda-Chemnitz railway line.January 22, 2021

This morning we went with the cross-country skiers over the snowy fields. There are no trails so the speed is quite meager. For a cross-country route it was going up and down well.

Hiked a few kilometers with dog, husband and sister-in-law between breakfast and lunch. The correct dates are shown in pictures 1 and 2.
