If you arrive early enough in Nallathanniya and want to discover the area a bit more before your Adam's Peak hike, this is a nice short loop. It starts by a little kiosk opposite of the Blue Sky hotel and the route is easy,leading you through tea fields and beautiful views on all sides. At the point where the route starts to head back, you arrive at a small village with a tea fern. Not included in this loop, but if you want to, you can head into the village and take a right turn upwards to what seems to be a government housing project (all the little huts look the same there). Behind those houses is a path that brings you to the Mia Marian Viewpoint with great views of the reservoir. Head back down to the village and watch some locals play cricket and head back onto the route. This detour will add probably another 40 to 45 minutes to your tour. Enjoy the hike!

Don't forget to grab a pint at the Chianti Brewfighters bar during the summer season when you make it back to Radda at the end of the loop.

Short and easy, castle, wine. A simple loop where you start and finish at the Brolio wine shop and Eroica cafe with ample free parking. This loop takes you straight up to the castle. Entry fee was 7 Euros as of September '25 and if you keep the receipt you get a tasting glass of wine at the shop where the tour starts and ends. Chianti views en masse.

An easy hike in terms of physicality apart from the overall distance. Not many special views along the way to be honest. But it does take you via Colle old town and the Elsa fluvial park which are the tour's highlights.

This hike is a wonderful loop with epic views into the Garda and Rovereto direction. Challenging bits on the ascend but the reward after reaching the peak is the "Refugio Stivo" hut with good food and drinks. Easy parking at the starting point of the loop.

This short loop has good parking and just one very manageable hill to climb at the beginning of the route. Views are fantastic throughout the journey. If you head out one to two hours before sunset, you will be met with beautiful sunset vibes and stunning views on Siena in the distance.
Like
