Nachdem am 30. AUGUST der neue Limesturm eingweiht wurde, war es Zeit ihm mal einen Besuch abzustatten. Der 23,5 Tonnen schwere Koloss hat eine Höhe von 16,5m, die Plattform befindet sich auf 12m Höhe und um es vorweg zu nehmen, sie bietet nicht viel mehr Aussicht als der Panoramaweg am Ortsrand Glashütten. BIs auf die Form wirkt der Turm durch seine Wartungsarbeiten Materialien für mich wenig römisch, da hab ich schon wesentlich originalgetreuere gesehen. Aber Glashütten hat er anscheinend nichts gekostet, da vom Land Hessen und der Gesellschaft Limeserlebnispfad gefördert und einem geschenkten 🐴......
