Finally made another tour😊🥾
The Saar-Riesling-Steig inspired me with its variety of landscape and nature experiences and the fascinating views of the Saar valley. Sunny vineyards in well-known good vineyards alternate with dense deciduous and coniferous forests. Particular highlights of this path are the lookout points "Am Schleidkreuz", "Am Saar-Steilhang" and "Am Heppenstein". The climbing tour on the Bockstein was also something special. The path is not that easy, but it can be mastered well if you allow enough time. The signage was okay too.

One of the most amazing hiking trails I've ever seen and done so far!
The hike was done in optimal weather (not too hot and not too cold). Exhausting 13.7 kilometers! But they were easy to manage. The path is very varied and absolutely worth seeing! On the way you could sometimes forget that you are still in Saarland. Really great! 😊

The route today mainly led through mixed forest with mighty beeches and oaks. There were also wide views, even if the view was not so clear, you could partly see as far as the Saar Valley, across to Lorraine, into the high forest and into the Schaumberger Land. Nice tour! 🥾

The tour wasn't bad, but I promised me a little more of it. The route leads a little steeply uphill to the Eichertsfelsen and that was actually the only highlight. It was just a shame that there was no place to stop for a break in one of the beautiful huts.

Today, it wasn't my day. Just before the summit cross the other way around. The last piece went up steeply, over rocky stones I was really scared to climb up there on my own lossen I then decided to take the same route back again. The only advantage, had a few more kilometers😊 The path was very nice in spite of everything, I will try to climb the summit cross again 🤣
