Sehr schöne Tour zum Saisonstart. Obwohl ich diese Wanderung schon so oft gemacht habe, gibt es immer etwas neues zu entdecken. Die Ruine Lützelhardt ist zur Zeit (04.03.2026) gesperrt. Entlang des Weges gibt es neben vielen Informationstafeln über das Biosphärenreservat Pfalz/Nordvogesen fast nur Natur pur. Ein Tipp von mir: Legt den Rösselsweiher ans Ende der Tour. Hier in der Sonne zu sitzen und den Tausenden Kröten und Fröschen zuzusehen ist reines Balsam für die Seele.

Very nice, somewhat challenging, moderately difficult tour.
The meeting point on this sunny - but very icy - first Sunday in February was the Saupferch forest and hiking car park near Bad Dürkheim. The ever-rising sun and total calm made the temperatures bearable.
