Chilterns & Berkhamsted
Summer sun. Crossing the Grand Union Canal a number of times. The route passes over the chalk stream River Chess which gave it’s name to nearby Chesham. Although a sunny day mostly shady in the countryside due to trees including some beech forests.

Chiswick to St Alban’s via Hampstead, Chipping Barnet and Potters Bar
St Alban’s cathedral is, of course, the highlight. This route had quite a lot of urban roads which made it a little slow. It passed the Old Oak Common HS2 station construction site too for transport nerds.
