Because of issues getting to Macedon, we got a VERY late start in the morning, which meant we skipped much of our planned route and still didn't get to our hotel in Syracuse until after 10pm. This also means we didn't stop for pictures on some really pretty single track sections, as we wanted to milk

Rain all day. Wasn't too bad until my waterproof socks gave up the ghost a few hours into the trip. One section of the trip had a large detour as section of road being worked on flooded. I'd have taken a picture but my hands were too wet to work the phone.

Simple out and back on the Cannon Valley Trail. One minor detour when the Cannon river overtook the trail - given the rain we were pretty lucky it was just the one short detour.

First day after our rest day, and the weather finally changed to less humid, thanks to a Canadian cold front that helped keep the tropical air from the south at bay. Along some of the old trail there are some bridge we crossed I can't find information, as well as Lock 21 which doesn't appear to have
