Getting some air before the rain! Set off from home at 8.45 on the Rohrweg towards Mittelberg, below the forest and then to Baad. The rain started an hour early but only gently. Nice stop at the Kuhstall in Baad - highly recommended. Returned by bus, relaxed and read. Cozy day

Today, cycling - from Oberstdorf through the green, wide, sunny Trettachtal to Alpe Oberau. Already had a coffee here at 11 am and enjoyed the idyll. With Kaiserwetter to Oberstdorf and up the Nebelhorn - I had never been there before! Great views in all directions - many people had the same idea..... The Hindelanger Klettersteig also starts up here - not for me! The viewing platforms are beautifully designed, with great panoramic views of the mountain

It had rained all night and the whole morning. Around 10:30 it got brighter - we took the Kanzelwandbahn up and it cleared up. We had fond memories of the ridge hike over Fellhorn with views into the Stillachtal and Kleinwalsertal. Uniquely, at the end of the ridge, it goes steeply and rockily downhill
