From the campsite in Baveno you can see a 🚡 - it's a small, open gondola lift from Laveno up to Sasso al Ferro. My husband would really like to ride it. So we start early - ferry to Intra/Verbiana and from there with the half-hourly car ferry to Laveno. We arrive around 10 am - it's supposed to be sunny

Wonderful city. Museums are popular - it rained at night. First, to the Automobile Museum - great. Then Lignetto - the building with the Fiat test track on the roof.
