„Nur wo du zu Fuß warst, bist du auch wirklich gewesen“ (goethe)
Bin mir sicher, das gilt auch für‘s Rad. Dies war zu seinen Lebzeiten zwar schon erfunden, hat er wohl nicht ausprobiert?

Spring everywhere - daffodils and magnolia trees on the golf course 😊
The app paused the recording das but that doesn't matter. It's a well-known round anyway.4 days ago

Premium loop to the Niddastausee and back via Bad Salzhausen.
After the weather report had constantly corrected itself downwards, there was at least the hope of catching a moment of sunlight at the reservoir - until then, really icy disgusting wind. Nevertheless: the reservoir is really idyllic and with a little imagination, it gives you a full summer feeling😉
Point in front of a very recommendable lovely ice cream parlor in Bad Salzhausen finally a cloudless sky - it works!
Bad Salzhausen looks a bit like an island that has fallen out of time. Very cute. In the spacious spa park, wonderful flowers bloom in combination with old buildings. A considerable water wheel from the 18th century moves a technical construction that I didn't really understand what it was. It's probably about salt works. Interesting anyway. We continued on almost car-free, endless asphalt paths, the purest driving dream.
Before Florstadt you pass a wonderful small nature reserve with lots of water birds. No time / desire to stop. It rolled so nicely, everything in flow.
Conclusion: plenty of stretches away from the main roads. Wouldn't change anything.
At the end, I briefly considered going around the block to 💯 fill it up ’but 99 is also teasingApril 2, 2021

A rare solo appearance in the office meets the finest weather ... great, that's how the pedals swing during the week. That has something, at least a bit of what feels like normality
I thought about it: so early, just on a March day, I don't think I've ever cycled to the office for the first time.March 31, 2021

Ui there was already something brewing up on the heights. But just used the last bit of the day for a ride over the Hohe Straße.

This round has the potential to be repeated in the next good weather phase with 10 degrees more. Despite the cold, or precisely because of it, I really liked the Reinheimer Teich nature reserve (circular route only gravel in parts!) The link there is absolutely worthwhile, watching many water birds, enchanting atmosphere.
The small, private ice cream factory in Habitsheim sells very delicious, lovingly made ice cream in an idyllic courtyard, so it speaks for another detour in the sunshine anyway.
And the Veste Otzberg will hopefully open its gate again at some point to be admired.
Unfortunately it got more and more closed and with the icy wind I had my fight honestly, it was draining ... so the planned vineyards of Großumstadt were canceled. Did I already say it😊 ... so repetition in summer weatherMarch 20, 2021

We put together a round of some of the most beautiful spots on the Wetterau Corso from my point of view. Wow, it was really fresh and the cold still costs me a lot of strength. Photo stops very reduced today because it was more popular to keep moving. There are enough pictures on the rounds from 2020😉
The loop via Reichelsheim to Bingenheimer Ried was newly recorded out of curiosity. Good decision 😎: firstly, a great bike path next to the road and secondly, totally worth seeing! Like a micro nature park. Sooo many water birds and animals to see. Just the atmosphere with the water surfaces is wonderful. I would have liked to have taken more photos there, it was difficult for me, but as I said, really too fresh for long strolling around.
The last loop over Ronneburg was unfortunately canceled. I didn't know that the street in Eckartshausen had been completely torn up. So final small change of plan.March 7, 2021
