On the way home we saw this beautiful lake from the car. What is obvious if you still have some time to do a little round.

After rainy weather a tour to the Kampriesen Alm followed. The Kaiserschmarrn is waiting.
Here the mountains have suffered a few mudslides due to storms and have caused great damage here and in the valley.
PS. Rarely seen so many stones. Where do they come from? And above all how? - The power of water!

With a total drop of 385 m, the Krimml Waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in Austria. You are on the outskirts of Krimml in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Very crowded for a Monday but the higher you go the emptier it gets.

Heidetraum in the middle of Rheinhessen. Between vineyards and nature reserves, the Hiwweltour Heideblick around Siefersheim and Neu-Bamberg leads to breathtaking views and right into the middle of a grandiose heathland. (if it blooms) Really a nice hike with even better weather and part 1 of our weekend trip.
