A beautiful final leg with great views and a fantastic finish in Bingen am Rhein Nahe Eck!
Today, we traveled from the start/finish line in two cars. There are buses from Bingen to Guldental, with one change each way.

This stage would certainly be more beautiful in bright sunshine or when the vineyards were more lush. Of all the stages of the wine trail so far, this one has been my least favorite.
But Bad Kreuznach is worth a visit, especially the old town, the spa gardens, and the Salinenpark.

We hiked three of the five Winningen wine trails.
First the Röttgen Wine Trail, then the Domgarten Wine Trail, and then the Insel Wine Trail.
The trails are only signposted in one direction, which is a shame.
The climbs are moderate, and you're rewarded with wonderful views of the Moselle and the steep
